Architectural Drawings
The Archives of Michigan houses many architectural records. Materials within this collection include drawings from court houses, lighthouses and life-saving stations across Michigan. Salvaged from a dumpster and later given to the Archives of Michigan, renderings of light-houses and life-saving stations along the western Great Lakes, include plan and elevation views of towers, residences, outbuildings, navigation aids, service facilities and attendant structures.
